Author commitments

There can be no Publishing industry without authors - it’s as simple as that. We believe in building long-term collaborative partnerships with our authors, paying fairly, and supporting authors as well as we possibly can.

Long-term author support

Our relationship with an author lasts long beyond the first few weeks after their story is published. We want our stories to have lengthy tails, so we’ll work with authors to support them long afterwards.

Fair reward

We can’t pay like the big publishers, but we believe in compensating authors and contributors fairly and sustainably. We’ll always work within our means, while offering the best deals we can.

Clear contracts

We want our contracts to be fair and easy to understand - authors shouldn’t need to be legal experts to understand what they’re signing up for, and they shouldn’t have to worry that we’re asking for more than we absolutely need to.
